Many could call Harvey Milk an animate hero, not just in the 1970s but point in todays decade. He was firm on giving gays the rights they deserved and refused to fall no for an answer. This film was very eye opening and extremely powerful biopic. Milk brings together love, gay rights, and politics all in one. Main character Sean Penn did an Oscar winning portrayal of Harvey Milk.
In the branch of the film, Milks main concern is not having anything to be proud of on his 40th birthday but that testament soon change.



After meeting his love Scott, played by James Franco they runaway together to San Francisco. Shortly after relocating in the Castro district, they begin to feel the hate from their own city, police included. That is when Harvey Milk decides to make a difference and subject a pay. He recruited many people to follow him and convinced them to also take a stand against the riots.
The neighborhood gay elite refused to recruit in any of Milks movements. However, it forced him to take his own stand and make a path not only for himself but for all homosexuals.
