My reaction regarding to an denomination on a newspaper entitled Teaching it correctly: History is non about dates is that I in reality do agree with the writer that if a instructer requires the student to memorize the dates and places dont know how to educate at all. Honestly, Im not fond of History because I really hate memorization. Way back to my 1st year racy school Social Studies, I hate the history of Magellan because our instructor let us memorize all the dates and places Magellan had gone through with(predicate) before he reached Philippines. I also agreed on the writer about A good history teacher must be a good story storyteller. History is all about the happenings before or it is what we called past. Its bonnie like, you as a teacher is the story teller and youre students ar your children. Take note that your audience is children; you must let them sympathize your story on their level.
History teachers should have shew this article for them to know that History is not about dates to memorize. It must be the happenings happened at that time for us to understand why our premise is like this. Past really do connect to our feed because our present cannot be like this without the past.
History teachers must teach history well because just like what was said preferably that History is not just about dates; its the moral instructions we learn from our past.
