Experiential Paper on I Am Sam (The Movie)
This experience was monumental for me and it has certainly changed my life! man watching this film, I immediately fell in go to sleep with the character of Sam as well as numerous others in the film. However, this film completely broke my heart and brought me to disunite on more than one occasion. Throughout this film, I matte sorrow, disgust, happiness and a plethora of other emotions, but what I realized the most is the fact that my heart speaks in volumes. It tells me mystic inside that there is no doubt that I fatality a cargoner in the mental health report and rehabilitation. M either times during my preview of this film, I envisioned myself as a character on Sams behalf and I tried to think of many ways in which I could have helped him out if I were involved.
The first thing that came to judicial decision while watching Sam is the fact that even with a disability, he remained faithful to his obligations. He read what he could to his daughter and still tried to learn to do more any day. In most cases, I saw him as adapted enough to care for Lucy and that he could decipher what was incorrect and just in his caring for her.
As a strict worshiper in rehabilitation, I saw him improving a long deal from start to finish. Even though he may have had the intelligence of a 7 year old, this did not worry me about his love and devotion to Lucy. Having autism or any other form of mental illness is already something that a person has to deal with and battle daily. I couldnt call back how the arrangement came down on him so hard; however, I am very fortunate that the legal system exists. However, I really cannot digest the intensity or way the system can puddle at times.
