Essays have had a long history since establishment of education. Essays have been revised from the ancient times to the present depending on the syllabus change. There are two broad categories of essays namely; essays written in APA style paper and Essays written in MLA style paper. APA style paper is distinct from any other writing format since APA style paper allows for the running head to be indented on the far left of paper margin.
Unlike APA style paper, the MLA version has its running head only three steps from the page number. Though APA style Paper is widely accepted, there are some regions especially in the European nations where the writing style is only accepted in social subjects and arts.
APA style paper has been constantly revised since the year 2004 and has received almost six revisions that have annual periods. APA style papers are always revised to conform with the ever dynamic environment which is prone to changes. Essays can be described in the form of arts or sciences depending on the knowledge of the audience or the author. Essays written in the form of arts generally and usually have the connotation of having social aspects them. Social aspects simply mean the teachings and moral that the writing has to the community or even to the world.
The scientific essays on the other hand explain the reason behind a phenomenon; in relation to its origin, effect and lastly the relevance of that phenomena to man. APA style paper has their origin from the United States and is widely used in the country since the nation is developed on social grounds from people of different backgrounds and origins.
