Teenage Pregnancy in the U.S.

Todays society is touch about the negative effects teenage pregnancy has on the teens these days. Teen parents are at risk of experiencing mental and psychological effects such as; depression, birth complications, toxemia, anemia, and even death. Teens are often not emotionally prepared for childbirth or being a parent and can experience original depression, anxiety, resentment and feelings of failure. They become scarred of the unplanned pregnancy, afraid of losing a social image and losing respect from friends and family.
