Abduction Family is important. In this story written by Shelagh Delaney, we are introduced to this subject. They leave behind always be there. No matter what happens, you will yet have your family. That tells us that the narrator is one of the family members. We follow the proud and successful woman named Ann, she works at a childrens hospital as a pediatrician. Ann is a very determined and independent woman and has from the beginning known, what she cherished in life. The reason for her becoming a doctor was, because she go to sleep children, des pite the fact that she has chosen to get sterilization, when she was a teenage woman. Ann has got a different sight on the world than her family, and that is consequently she chooses to abduct her baby brother, she thinks that she knows, what is best for him, and that their parents dont. Promising them she could be him a better future than they could [] ,(ll. 46-47).

After promising that to their parents, she drives forrader with her brother, whos thinking that Kensington, where Ann lives, was going to be great compared to Manchester. The brother, who is a very unsecure and dependent boy, does like mo st teenagers not authentically know, what ! he wants with life, and when Ann comes along with all the answers, he goes with her. He is very thankful towards her in the beginning, because she gives him a very generous allowance, and he considers it as a wonderful life, she takes care of everything for him.
