1.)If it wasnt for a mortals natural curiosity to know their future or fate, in greek mythology, they would live an almost peaceful life. It never fail, if you want to live in those days, you would try your best to baulk away from the oracles. In almost every Greek spell I have read or heard virtually, the booster shot always meets an undesirable death. But can you blame the Greeks for not utilizing such a powerful resource ? In those times, (mythical times of course) their were some many occasions in the world that could kill you. They didnt have the security of street lights and the luxury of complicated machinery. It was literlay endurance of the fittest. If you was anything less than a Demi-god, you was already considered dead a birth. You were natural with the greatest kind of fear that man has ever faced. surviving in a world were your likely hood of comprehend today was almost never promised, you had to aleast made one pillowcase to the oracles for some guidance. The oracles of mythical times are, in some way, our preachers or pastors today. If you go to church and a man who has almost the nearest relationship to your god, tells you, that one day you are going to be rich. You cannot tell me that you wouldnt want him to ask god, how ?



The sad thing is, the gods in those times, were so full of themselves, that they never gave man-kind a break, unless it fitted their needs.
2.)With this hunt being written in 4th century B.C. and to settle down be studied today shows a lot about the level of influence this play has had over our own culture. To this day, we whitewash have the fear of tomorrow. Even though we dont have to face mythical beast at the assure of dawn, we still have the fear of how tomorrow will actuate and end.
